Jim Burger Photography

Bio

Hello.
My name is Jim Burger.

I have been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years. Since my earliest days developing pictures in a bathroom turned darkroom in my parents' basement I have used a camera to tell stories. I learned my craft at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and I learned my trade at the Baltimore City Paper and the Baltimore Sun. As a freelance photographer I always take a personal approach to any assignment and never give less than my fullest attention. I work for clients as varied as AARP, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Lou Gehrig’s Disease Association. My work has appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, The San Francisco Examiner, and the Los Angeles Times. The photos on this site are but a sample of my vision and the enthusiasm I bring to any job. Thank you for your interest, and I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them.

Respectfully,
Jim Burger
